Bridging the gap between algorithms and machines
About
EPiQC is a multi-disciplinary collaboration across 5 universities, led by the University of Chicago, that spans algorithms, software, and physical machines.
Research
EPiQC research will develop algorithms, software, and machines that work better together to achieve 100 to 1000 times more efficient quantum computation.
Tools
EPiQC is developing a vertically-integrated set of open-source software tools to connect algorithms to machines, spanning programming languages, compilers, optimizers, simulators, and verification.
Education
A major goal of EPiQC is to grow an urgently needed community of computer science researchers for quantum computing.
