EPIQC is creating resources for several audiences, from the general public to middle school students to professionals in computer science.
ZINES
Zines are short, comic-book-style pamphlets that fit on an 8.5”x11” piece of paper (folded and cut into a 8-pane pamphlet). These begin with analogies accessible to a broad audience and end with quantum gates. Read the zines online or download a pdf to print!
Introduction to Quantum computing & qiskit (for high school students)
This 2-week module is designed to (1) build on high school students’ knowledge of CS; (2) teach students to program in Qiskit - a popular tool for designing quantum circuits; and (3) reinforce students’ understanding of quantum concepts via experimenting with building quantum circuits and quantum algorithms.
EPiQC has activities to introduce children and their families to quantum computing topics. The EPiQC Activities for Informal Educators are designed for a broad range of contexts including libraries, museums, classrooms, and after school programs.
curated learning resources
Want to teach from existing online resources (with a few of ours thrown in)? We have curated and packaged existing resources into content areas (and added a few of our own). Each begin with videos intended to inform the general public and progress to those more specifically targeting students and professionals in the field of computer science about quantum computing.
